Clear on the spec, tidy at the end
A KT15 customer who had just bought their house had Shane and Ashley round to quote for a new roof. They were clear on the job spec and the timescale, communicated at the end of every day and left the property tidy.
In Chertsey, KT16, a roof was leaking in a few different places. Shane explained what was actually wrong, and after the work the customer has had no problems since. In August 2026 another Addlestone customer, who does not usually leave reviews, wrote that Shane did a long overdue repair on their roof.

New Roof
I had Shane and Ashley from McDermott Home Improvements come round to my house I've recently brought to give me a quote on a new roof. There Communication on when they would be able to pop round was very good. They were very polite and very knowledgeable, I received the quotation promptly and I was very happy with how clear they were on the job spec and the time of how long the job would take. There Communication at the end of each day was outstanding. I am so happy with my new roof and how tidy they left the property. I would highly recommend McDermott Home Improvements!! Thanks guys!!
New roof installation
I had a lot of problems with my roof, it was leaking in a few different places. I contacted Shane, he was very helpful with explaining to me what was actually wrong with the roof and what needed to be fixed. When the work was carried out Shane and his team were very respectful , reassuring and hard working. They done a brilliant job, and I haven’t had any problems since.

Roofing repair
Had a leak causing serious issues inside our house and was getting extortionate quotes for all sorts of works from different company’s. We tried out checkatrade and Shane come out to inspect and thoroughly went through the exact reason why we were having this leak Shane then come back the next day out of hours and completed this job for us. Great workmanship a real genuine company and would recommend this company to anyone with any roofing needs!
