BagshotThe 3-layer torch-on system
A vapour control layer, an underlay and a mineral cap sheet, each torched onto the one below so they bond into one membrane. It goes onto new 18mm OSB boards, with a 25x50 drip edge so water clears the fascia.
On the Bagshot roof Shane also brought the 3-layer system over the parapet walls and coping stones, so the joint where most parapet roofs leak is covered too. On the 110 square metre roof he built in a pitched conversion to stop water puddling, and finished it in two days.

Reviews from felt and flat roof jobs
Felt replaced.
I needed my roof felt replaced, and Shane and his team were outstanding. They were quick, professional, and even finished the job ahead of schedule. Shane clearly explained all my options, making the process stress-free, and the price was very fair. I’m happy with the results and highly recommend them.
A happy customer.
I found the operatives to be polite, efficient guys. They were extremely professional in their approach to the works carried out. They kept me informed of all they were doing as the job progressed. They left the site very clean. I was very pleased with the service I received, so much so I have recommended them to my neighbour.

Torch-on felt questions
How long does a torch-on felt roof last?
A properly laid 3-layer system lasts for decades. Shane gives a 15-year guarantee on his 3-layer torch-on roofs.
Is torch-on safe on my house?
Torching is done by Shane's trained team with the right detailing at edges and walls, as on the Bagshot and 110 square metre roofs.
Can torch-on go over my old felt?
Shane strips the old covering and checks the deck first, then boards in new OSB where needed. Laying over a failed roof hides the problem.
